A blurry window to the past, but a window nonetheless

Despite the role played by African-Americans in the history of Page County, Virginia through 1865, the stories of these people have been curiously absent for far too long. Thus, this blog will serve as a vessel for filling a void in memory; a void in the memory of a county and the history of that county.
I’ll be posting here from time to time. It may be weekly or more often.
